Lieutenant Colonel Bruce Willis

Bruce was born in Papua New Guinea and grew up in Western Australia. He enlisted in the Australian Army in 1983 and has served for 30 years, as both a soldier and an officer.

Bruce has participated in domestic security operations within Australia and seen operational service overseas in Cambodia, Bosnia, East Timor, the Solomon Islands, Iraq and Afghanistan.

He is married and has a young family. When not on duty in the military, Bruce volunteers with a number of community and charitable organisations. He is a graduate of the Australian Command and Staff College and has a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies, a Graduate Diploma in Defence Management and a Masters in Sport Management.
