Born in Sudan, Majak and his family moved to Australia as refugees. When Majak debuted for North Melbourne, he became the first Sudanese-Australian to ever play in the AFL.
Majak played over 50 games for the Kangaroos, and in 2016 won the AFL Mark of the Year. When he finished at the Kangaroos Majak spent 2 years at the Melbourn Demons to help add depth and experience to their team.
Majak has published his autobiography, which tells his powerful story of triumph and despair, and highlights the importance of mental health.
