Sam was elected to the Queensland Parliament in 2017, when he was just 26 years old. He was the first Member for Bonney, a newly-created electorate on the Gold Coast.
Prior to entering Parliament, Sam grew up around his families electrical business, and he went on to graduate from both Science and Arts degrees at the University of Queensland. Sam has served in many voluntary roles with community organisations.
Sam is also the Minister for Housing and Public Works, but joins us at the National Young Leaders Day in is role as the Minister for Youth.
